Carol studied piano and organ from an early age and obtained a music degree from Royal Holloway College, London University,  and a piano teaching diploma from the Royal College of Music.

She has taught both privately and in numerous schools in the Cambridge and Bristol areas and now lives in the South Hams. She has experience of teaching students of all ages and abilities, and has prepared many of these for ABRSM and Trinity College examinations from pre-Grade 1 to post Grade 8, as well as students who have no interest in examinations but wish to develop as amateur pianists.  

Carol has extensive experience of performing, and accompanying a wide range of instrumentalists and singers in concerts, festivals and for examinations.
